SAREES THAT SPEAK
Why Vasaka
Rooted in Rajasthan. Made by hand. Designed for the way women live today.
Vasaka brings together the timeless craft traditions of Rajasthan and a contemporary love for the saree creating pieces made slowly, thoughtfully and with purpose.
Every Vasaka saree carries a story of the craft, the hands, the place it comes from, and the woman who makes it her own.
Our Mission
We believe craft should remain a living part of everyday life.
Vasaka exists to work alongside the artisans, weavers, printers and dyers who keep India's textile traditions alive — while creating sarees that feel relevant to the women of today.
The saree was never meant to belong to one occasion. It belongs at work, at home, at celebrations, on ordinary days and extraordinary ones.
We want to make sarees that are beautiful enough to remember and easy enough to live in.
Every block is hand-carved. Every thread is intentionally woven. Every dye is carefully prepared. This takes time. And we believe that time is part of what makes it special.
Meet the Makers
Behind every saree is a pair of hands. Often, many.
The block maker who carves each motif.
The printer who aligns it, impression after impression.
The dyer who knows when the colour is just right.
The weaver who works thread by thread.
