Meet the Founder
Born in the village in Karauli, Rajasthan and raised in the vibrant city of Jaipur, her journey has always been shaped by family and the rich heritage of her homeland. Surrounded by the timeless beauty of traditional crafts, her connection to Rajasthan’s culture deepened with each passing year.
The desire to start her own business was always present, but life’s many responsibilities kept it on hold. After 12 years of marriage, raising her children and tending to life’s many responsibilities, she took a bold step in October 2023—a step that transformed her simmering dreams into a thriving reality.
Her journey from homemaker to entrepreneur was not easy—it was filled with sleepless nights, tough decisions and moments of self-doubt. But with the unwavering support of her two sisters, Sapna and Kajal and a heart full of passion, she decided to create something truly special.
And so, Vasaka was born.
More than just a brand, Vasaka is a tribute—a heartfelt blend of the names Varsha, Sapna, and Kajal. It symbolizes their unbreakable bond and the power of sisterhood.
Every saree at Vasaka is woven with love—a love story between a woman and her dreams. It’s a celebration of craftsmanship and the stories of art passed down through generations.
Vasaka sarees aren’t just fabric. It’s a legacy of handblock printing, intricate wonders of tie-dye and rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship—crafted with sustainability in mind and deeply rooted in the soil of nature. It speaks of tradition, nurtured dreams and a future that’s kind to the planet.
