Gerua is an authentic Bagru hand block printed saree collection dyed in signature earthy reds, iron blacks and natural neutrals.
Inspired by the iconic gerua (rust-earth) hues created using traditional iron-based natural dyes, this collection reflects the raw beauty of mud, sun and handcrafted process.
Each saree begins with a traditional hardaa (myrobalan) treatment, where the cotton fabric is carefully pre-treated to allow natural dyes to bind deeply and develop rich, lasting colour. The sarees are then hand block printed by skilled artisans using carved wooden blocks and time honoured Bagru techniques, including Syahi-Begar.
